Ticket for free travel for young people in Savonlinna

You can get the code for the 2025 Savonlinna free youth ticket at Kioski Puhakka, Ilokallionkatu 4, 57200 Savonlinna, from 2 December 2024.

The 2025 ticket will be valid from 1 January 2025.

The Savonlinna free youth ticket is available to young people under 18 years of age who are from Savonlinna or Ukraine. When buying, you must prove your identity with a Kela card (with or without a photo), a passport, a police-issued ID card or a driving license.

Validity area

The ticket is valid after 16.00 on weekdays on local transport lines procured by the city, as well as on school days on local transport services procured by the city:

From Savonlinna at 16.15 to Kerimäki

From Savonlinna at 15.10 to Punkaharju

From Punkaharju at 16.10 to Savonlinna

From Savonlinna at 15.10 to Pellossalo

From Kerimäki at 14.05 to Savonranta

Travel is permitted on local services without time limit on Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays, as well as on services between Savonlinna and Kerimäki procured by the city on Saturdays and school holidays (other local transport services do not operate except on school days). Changes to traffic timetables are possible.

Period of validity

The ticket is valid for one calendar year at a time (1 January to 31 December).

Travelling

The ticket is personal and cannot be used to pay for other passengers’ trips.
